Diego Barrera Rivera

Diego Barrera Rivera is a dedicated Legal Assistant at Torres & Caraves Law, providing crucial support to the criminal defense team.

Diego’s responsibilities include effective case management, client engagement, and ensuring efficient processes. He facilitates remote access to case data, maintains case timelines, oversees the resolution process, and provides excellent service. He is highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks.

Diego is a graduate of Osbourn Park High School, where he was awarded for ESL (English as a Second Language) student advocacy and counseling, and for the best AP Portfolio Artwork of the year. His artwork was displayed at a local art gallery in the City of Manassas, VA. He also attended Northern Virginia Community College, where he studied Information Technology AA.

Diego’s strong foundation in customer service and operations precedes his entry into the legal field. He gained experience at Amazon as a dispatcher and manager, training over 50 employees in safety and service. As Delivery Manager at Home Depot, he oversaw contractor orders exceeding $50,000, ensuring professional delivery and prioritizing customer service. In his free time, Diego enjoys a variety of activities, including outdoor adventures, music, movies, and expressing his creativity through art and DIY projects.

Diego’s commitment to client satisfaction is evident in his proactive approach to communication. He believes in reaching out to clients regularly to address any questions or concerns and ensure they feel supported and informed. He is particularly driven to assist Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they receive proper counsel and justice.
